AI search & GEO
People now find businesses through search results, maps and AI-assisted answers. We address all of them in one practical SEO plan, shaped around your business.
Plain English
GEO stands for generative engine optimisation. It describes work intended to help a business's information be found, understood and considered when AI-powered search tools put together an answer.
The name is new; the useful foundations are familiar. Search systems need pages they can access, clear explanations of what you do, and reliable details that people can check. Google says its AI search features use the same SEO best practices and need no special optimisation.
A simple example
Someone may ask an AI search tool a detailed local question. Clear service pages give both people and search systems information they can check.

The practical work
We focus on information that helps a potential customer make a decision, whether they reach it through a standard result or an AI-assisted answer.
Check that useful pages can be discovered, indexed and linked to, with important information available in readable text.
Explain your services, locations, process and common questions in your own words, with specific detail rather than repeated keywords.
Keep contact and business information consistent, and use genuine work, reviews and examples where you have permission to publish them.
One joined-up approach
We do not sell a separate GEO package. AI search is considered alongside the website, local presence and content work in your SEO proposal.
Common questions
No. GEO is a useful name for thinking about visibility in AI-assisted answers, but the practical work belongs in a sound SEO plan. We include it in our Local SEO approach and agree the priorities in your proposal.
No one can promise a citation, position or number of enquiries. Search providers choose which sources to show, and their answers can change. We focus on making your information accurate, accessible and genuinely useful.
Usually the best starting point is improving the pages you already need: clear services, locations, evidence of your work and useful answers to customer questions. Google says its AI search features do not require special AI markup or a separate machine-readable file.
